Dr. Osman Bashir Tahir
Dr. Osman Bashir Tahir grew up in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He did his primary schooling at Al Khubairat British Community School, and secondary schooling at International School of Chouiefat. He went to the prestigious King Edward Medical College in Lahore, for his MBBS, and completed his house job at Mayo Hospital. He underwent Basic Surgical Training was at Whipps Cross University Hospital, London, and he qualified in Surgery from the world renowned Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, with the degree of MRCS(Ed). He also obtained an MSc in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery from Queen Mary, University of London and Board Certification of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Osman underwent a rigorous 5 year residency in Plastic, Reconstructive and Burn surgery from King Edward Medical University, Lahore. He holds the degree of MS (Plastic Surgery) by King Edward Medical University, which makes him a Board Certified Consultant Plastic Surgeon. He also did a fellowship in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Singapore, under the famous Dr. Woffles Wu. He has been certified by the American Bodysculpting Institute and DynamX Centre of Artistic Bodysculpting in Ultrasonic liposuction and body contouring surgery. He is the only Hi-Def and 4D Sculpt Certified surgeon in Pakistan. Further aesthetic surgery and nonsurgical training courses and certificates were awarded, when he was trained at the world famous Harley Street in London.
Dr. Osman Bashir Tahir was the founding CEO of Al Razi Healthcare, and he set-up three world class healthcare facilities in 2024, launching and running them for 10 months after which he resigned to focus on his passion. He is currently in private practice at Halcyon Medical Centre, a discreet modern medical facility, just of the famous MM Alam Road, Lahore. His philosophy of practice is to educate people to live life with maximum health and wellness, and believes that Aesthetic medicine has an enormous place in boosting ones self esteem and confidence. He offers innovative solutions and provides a holistic approach at his practice.
Dr OBT-as he is popularly called- enjoys reading medical journals and travelling for medical conferences and courses. He lives in Lahore, with his wife, his son Ismail Osman and two Labradors Alex and Sitta.
